Welcome to my blog, with the obligatory welcome post.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Johanna Hoadley. But my friends call me Jodi. I’m a mobile and social product manager who has worked primarily for content-focused businesses including Yahoo!, SFGate.com, Hearst Corporation, cleveland.com, MercuryNews.com and others. I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, having worked in online and now mobile industries since the mid-90s. I enjoy coding, although I’m not a coder by trade. I’m an avid social media user, guru, trainer, marketer and product manager. I get excited about new technology that makes my life better, easier or more fun. And I love to hike and backpack, travel and drink coffee. Lots of coffee. (I blame Yahoo!’s free coffee for that one).
I’m also the founder a site about hiking in the Bay Area and beyond, Hikerly. Check it out. It’s not my job per say, but it is my passion.
And with that, welcome to my blog. Check back often for my two cents on all things mobile and social, with a few personal perspectives on living and working in the Bay Area.
